Chicago Meet-Up: crashing the EMC

Another Effective Manager Conference will be happening on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in the northern suburbs - the Chicago-area locals are again invited to join the end-of-day Q&A session, then spend some time together over snacks/drinks.
 
Interested? Please reply on this thread or message me - and feel free to share this invite far and wide.

Location: Crowne Plaza Chicago - Northbrook (2875 N Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062)
Time: Meet 5:00 at the hotel lounge, then join the EMC folks at 5:30 for the Q&A session.
 
If you can't get there so early, come anyway - we'll move to the lounge/restaurant for food and more conversation after the Q&A... I think we stayed until ~9:00 last time. :-)
 
Hope to hear from you - we've got a lot of M-T fans in Chicago, and it'd be great to see you again / meet more of you in person.

Yes, we'll be in the back of the room... and heckling must be reserved for AFTER the serious Q&A. Raiding the snacks table is totally fair game, though - does that help? :-)  Looking forward to meeting you both!

As a participant in the EMC class in Chicago I just wanted to say thanks for those of you who showed up and joined in on the Q&A. 
You added a nice level of excitement about your personal experience and success with the Manager-Tools trinity pieces and it was only added encouragement for me to step into the trinity roll-out fully.

Greetings,

I'm attending my first MT conference and will be flying into Chicago Midway airport today. Does anyone have any tips for getting from Midway to Northbrook without renting a car? I'm planning on taking public transportation and just want to make sure I get on the right buses.

Also, any tips on what to do with my luggage while visiting downtown on Thursday? I don't fly home till about 10:30 that night so I have all day to visit the city and hoping to drop my luggage someplace or a locker of some sort.

Dude,
Strongly recommend to rent a car - Northbrook is on the opposite side of the city in the North burbs and is not worth taking public trans - it will take you an eternity.
