Great article on feedback in the WSJ...

A fantastic article appeared today in the WSJ about grooming and retaining employees for management positions rather than going through the constant cycle of layoff and hiring. I looked at the byline a couple of times just to make sure Mike or Mark didn't write it! Here is the link...http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120127885688417275.html You will need a subscription...but all informed people have one of those, right?

Thanks for the link, dbobke. It worked fine for me, and I do not have a subscription.

(Remember, not everyone here works in the business world. WSJ is not considered a key resource for people in my field. New York Times Review of Books, maybe, but not WSJ.)

I have read recently that the WSJ was going to offer more free content from the website, but I never can be sure which article links will work and which ones will not...Thanks for the info.

BTW...the Wall Street Journal is a fantastic source of information no matter what your field. I am not in finance or banking - I am in Information Technology. However, the WSJ is one of the finest newspapers in the world and I feel you should read it no matter what your field is.
